Elegant, with color changing naturally from a pretty raspberry hue to salmon-pink. A precise nose of extraordinary freshness and a wide range of red fruits: raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry, black cherry. A fresh and sharp attack for this supple and rounded wine. On the palate, it offers the sensation of plunging into a basket of freshly picked red berries.
The House of Laurent Perrier was founded in 1812 by André Michel Pierlot. A few years down the line, the Champagne house was bequeathed to the cell master Eugéne Laurent. When Eugene passed in 1887 with no heir, his widow Mathilde Emilie Perrier took control of the business. Mathilde combined the two names and used her business skills to grow the Champagne house into the Laurent Perrier we know today.
The current cell master Michel Fauconneth has spent his entire career working with Laurent Perrier at every stage of production. Michel in his own words said, “My job is to make those vins de plaisir that are perfectly attuned to the spirit of the House of Laurent-Perrier.” You can tell he takes this to heart. The level of excellence in a glass is proven time and time again.
