The Pelaverga of the Comm. G. B. Burlotto winery is a very special red wine produced with 100% of Pelaverga grapes grown in the area of Verduno, a small village near Alba. With a nice ruby red color, it develops an intense and elegant bouquet, with hints of nutmeg and spices, black pepper and strawberry. Well balanced, dry and persistent in the mouth, this Pelaverga is great to taste with appetizers or pasta courses typical of the Piedmont cuisine, but is also perfect if drunk together with fresh or not seasoned cheeses.
