The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit struck through with shucked oyster shell that defined the finish. Wonderful length.
95 Burghound – Riper aromas are comprised by notes of spiced plum, exotic tea, violet and a whiff of wood toast. There is again fine richness, volume and mid-palate density to the caressing but punchy and solidly powerful flavors that stain the mouth with sappy dry extract while delivering even better persistence on the balanced and built-to-age finale.
