92 Decanter – This delightful wine boasts a good concentration of ripe pear and lime peel on the nose with hints of butter, spice, and some smoky reductive notes. There is a pleasant concentration on the palate, with balanced acidity that leads the wine to an elegant, lingering finish. This flagship cuvée is an assemblage of many parcels (including some declassified premier crus) that total over 9.5 hectares. The grapes are gently pressed before fermentation in tank and ageing in used casks. This wine is a beautiful entry point to a powerful range.
