This wine comes from various estate vineyards all enjoying south or south-eastern exposures. It’s a blend of 90% Sangiovese blended with 5% Cabernet and 5% Merlot. What a pretty little wine! This value Chianti has everything you’d want from a “bargain Tuscan red” – it has a pretty nose of ripe red fruits, leather and herbs. In the mouth, it is soft, pure, and so elegant and smooth.
