Les Vergelesses is situated east of Savigny-les-Beaune village, on north side of the valley of the small river called Rhoin, close to Pernand-Vergelesses and the Grand Cru sites of Corton. It has a perfect south-east aspect, with gently inclining slopes.
Gentle wood frames ripe and mildly exotic aromas of lychee, white peach and a hint of passion fruit. The exceptionally rich, caressing and solidly concentrated flavors terminate in a lightly mineral-inflected, youthfully austere and nicely persistent finish.
